PS3 Camera

August 19th, 2009 admin No comments

Hey everyone!

I finally got my PS3 eye all modified and working!

Below are a few pictures I took. Unfortunately, during the process, I found out I had the wrong type of lens on my camera, so I had to order a new one. Because of this, my picture-taking process was interrupted, and I forgot to take some when I was putting in the filter. Regardless, the camera seems to be working, and hopefully I can get working on building the table tonight :)

PS3 Eye

August 9th, 2009 admin No comments

Hey everyone!

So yesterday I decided to take apart my PS3 Eye and put in the IR filter.
Progress was going pretty good, until I got the lens part out – I realized I had the wrong camera type.

So, now I’ve ordered a new lens for the camera. Once that comes in, I’ll be able to finish modifying the camera. I’ll post all the pictures and such once I’ve successfully modified the camera.

My Multi-Touch Blog

August 8th, 2009 admin No comments

Hey everyone!

I’ve finally gotten around to putting my blog up!
In this blog, I will be documenting the progress on my multi-touch table.

On the topic of progress, the projector that I’ll be using for the table came in yesterday.
The projector is a BenQ MP522 ST, and should hopefully be sufficient for the table.

The Projector

I’ll be making some more posts shortly, as I plan on taking apart my PS3 eye and putting in an IR filter.
